i found my old duel disk and deck!!!!!!!!

it was next to my stuff when i woke up
im pretty sure theyre mine
the deck is from when i was a kid
and well i guess the duel disk can be from another student
but we changed them to new ones by my third year

anyway we can duel now!
and use solid vision

So hey Jun do you have a moment? I've got an updated medical report.

It's really strange. The medical workers think there's nothing wrong with me. I know that's not true.

They'll always find an excuse to pass off something absurd as normal. I can't trust that record anymore.

I don't wanna sound crazy but that's what happened. The people in this city aren't acting right.

More or less. I never thought something like an app could have this much influence over our daily lives.

6/26 - evening

[ Sometime in the evening, shortly after the teahouse closes up for the night, Judai is storming off... somewhere. He doesn't care where he's going. He just needs to walk this off, get some air, and get this aggression out of him. The envelope is gripped tightly in his hand. ]

[ help him jun ]

[Jun had gotten off work and was running a couple errands before he headed back to Noah's when he spotted Judai. Wow he looks...really unhappy. He's never seen the guy like that before]

Judai?

[ehero]

[ Judai doesn't hear Jun as he just marches ahead, eyes furiously staring into the ground. He even shoulder checks the other and doesn't apologize. Does Jun fall down? ]

[whiteshroud]

[he doesn't fall, but he'll stumble just because Judai is larger than him and he wasn't expecting to get shoulder check. He's graceful enough to regain his footing before he falls over]

W-Whoa, hey! Judai!

[ Nothing even feels real to Nier anymore. He has moments where he pauses and stares up into space and hours pass by. Eventually, Nier figures that he has to do something. He needs to get into contact with people and sort things out. Jun's name comes to mind. ]

Hey uh, thanks? For saving me. I told you to run away but you didn't.

Maybe I'm only here now because of you and Noah. So thank you.

[Ah....he'd been half expecting a text like this eventually. It's strange to get. Jun wasn't very good at receiving thank you's - especially when he doesn't feel he deserves it. ]

Noah did more work than me in that regard, really. I was just fulfilling my mission to resolve the anomaly.

What's the anomaly? Me? [ He's just taking a wild guess and trying not to sound completely clueless. ]

I still need to thank Noah too. That book was just using me to destroy everything. I might know why actually.

[ Nier was able to remember some things from the "other" world more clearly. He has some answers but not all of them. Talking about things certainly helps. ]

I've seen that book before. Did it hurt you?

You were the source. Or rather, that book was, from what I can tell.

Only from injuries I got in our fight, but I've fully healed since then. Why was it using you to destroy everything?

Hey, Jun. I can finally answer a question you had.

I think my outfit changed the other day because I was living in a memory that wasn't mine.

There's one thing I don't really understand. Why were you in a maid outfit??????

[Ok that question is easy enough to answer, so he'll start with that]

I work at a maid cafe. I was in the middle of the shift when everything started and didn't have a chance to change.

You were living in a memory that wasn't yours? What do you mean by that?

[silentends]

That was for work? I guess you didn't have much of a choice then.

I meant exactly what I said.

There's this other version of me in another world.

Whenever I remembered that other world bad things started happening. It was getting worse and worse and I didn't know who I was. You and Noah knew exactly what to do with that.

Yes. Monster fighting isn't a very hirable skill in this job market, so I had to rely on my looks.

[Well he's honest at least]

Interesting. It lines up with what other people have been experiencing. It seems the people that are native to this town have some kind of connection with alternate versions of themselves in other worlds.
