I gave him back the wallet since I figured he was gonna keep coming back until it got returned. Or to catch "bandana guy."
Hilariously, I wasn't wearing my headband that day so he has NO IDEA that was me LMAO
Bets for how long it'll take for it to click?
Anyway, I'm pretty sure he wanted to size us up. Get the measure of the people who knew Luke when he wasn't there for him. I'm pretty sure he's both jealous of us and guilty that Luke had been the one sent instead of him. I was also able to gather that Luke thought Asch was dead, which has probably also messed him up a bit.
Oh and he also called me an idiot when he thought I couldn't hear, but I feel like he's throwing stones in a glass house, you know?
Oh, well, that answers that question, then. Shame, I told him to try lost and found in the college. But you're right, he probably would have kept sniffing around.
I don't know. Depends how like his twin he is. If they're anything like each other, he might never connect the dots.
The uniform DOES suggest it was a big intimidation tactic, yeah. Which... poor choice given us, but there you go. Only strengthens my 'won't connect the dots' theory.
Ah. That's a shame, but probably the right call. He seems like the persistent type. At least we still have Luke's contact information.
My guess? It'll be a couple months.
And looking at it that way... that makes sense. He probably has a lot of complicated feelings about this situation, and is dealing with them... this way. He seemed really set on having a negative opinion towards the "bandana guy and angry blonde" - maybe he feels threatened by you guys?
Ha... I'm not surprised. He made a jab about how "devout" a person I must be. While wearing that uniform. Dumbass.
It was pretty dumb, he made some remark about how someone devout wouldn't lie. Projecting his religious baggage aside That's not even one of the Commandments.
Good! As was your right! There was no need for a comment like that.
Seriously, that's so stupid. Was he purposefully trying to provoke you and then threw a tantrum when it actually worked? What the heck did he expect from that?
Persistent, obviously has a short fuse, takes things way too seriously. Recipe for disaster, especially when he has the perfectly normal response of treating a tiger like it's a kitten. Yes, yes, Guardians see a lot more dangerous stuff, but treating normal dangers like they're not worth the time is the entire basis of dumb ways to die.
Haha, same! I'm hoping for SOME intelligence, at least.
Possibly. When I brought up being Luke's brother, I noticed the change in his expression. I think he doesn't know how to handle emotions that don't deal with anger... but now we're getting into psychoanalysis territory and I should stop there.
[Fucking how can you tell a change in Asch's expression???]
Oh my god. How? How??? All he had to do was go home and change clothes, and we'd probably treat him like a normal person.
He... acted like you were a kitten while you were in tiger form? [JEEZ. Sure Jun does that, but he knows who the tiger is!!! He's RELATED to the tiger! He wouldn't do that with a strange tiger!!] ... He's going to end up a Darwin Award recipient if he's not careful.
Mm. Someday he's going to make a therapist's day with all there is to unpack. I'm impressed you noticed changes in his facial expressions though.
He didn't play with me, thank all the gods for that. But he definitely didn't really treat me with any kind of caution. Makes me think that he does reckless stunts on the regular.
Asch is tricky to read, but my old boss in my past life was subtle with her expressions, too. It's definitely difficult. I might not have caught it if not for my memories of Chief Hoshimi.
I'm honestly suspecting you're correct on that and I think I feel pity for him.
Hmm... you're probably right. When you put it that way, it reminds me of someone in my past life. She was a talented Enforcer with a lot of potential, but she was reckless. She'd try to face dangerous Eclipses alone, when really only a Seal Knight should do that. It got her in a dangerous situation at least once. Maybe Asch is the same as her.
Huh, well... that'd explain why you'd be able to tell. I've never been good at picking up those subtle facial cues, so I'm a little envious.

It would be SO funny if he never connected the dots.
Truly he picked the worst people to try that tactic on. A goth teenager isn't high on my list of scary people.
no subject
It would! I'm expecting it.
Right. Most of us have dealt with a lot worse by now. He's really gonna get nowhere. We should sic Ana on him. In dog form. He'd be obliterated.
no subject
We should! Just let me know if you guys do that because I would love to see what happens.

Hah, you bet! We might as well have some fun with it.

Whatever. At least with the wallet gone, he doesn't have an excuse to storm the alley again.

Definitely related to Luke then.
We can but hope! I'm sure we can find ways to get rid of him if he comes back.

Someone should take him shopping.
