Kaisou CR Chart
Jun's best friend. They met several years ago through online forums about cosplay and hit it off. In many ways August is polar opposite to Jun. While Jun is quiet and reserved, August is loud and tends to let everyone know what he's feeling. He leans into being the strange occult gay aesthetic while Jun prefers not to stand out much. Also there's the whole fact he's a demon while Jun's a holy knight. That's a thing too.
Despite all these differences, Jun really values his friendship with August and trusts him absolutely. He trolls and bickers with his friend on occasion, but he'd also do just about anything if August needed it. Jun insists to anyone that'll listen that August is the best tailor you'll find in Kaisou, and he has come around to believing August's tarot readings. Just August's, anyway.
August has a familiar companion named Julian that Jun is also very familiar with. A raven that August has had since he was a kid, Jun's known Julian just as long as he's known August. As such, he knows all of Julian's favorite things and has become Julian's favorite human. He may have neglected to tell August that Julian was a familiar and not a normal bird for many years - but in Jun's defense, he really thought August would've figured it out on his own sooner.
A pirate assassin that Jun met on the rooftops after Edward mistook his white shroud as one of the uniforms of the assassin guild that Edward may or may have killed someone to get into? The guy is personable and entertaining enough, but Jun feels it'd be for the best to keep him at arm's length on account of all the crime and murder.
That said, Edward was willing to give them passage across the Atlantic Ocean with few questions asked when Zhongli needed help with Azhdaha, so Jun really does appreciate that.
A young girl who came from a similar background as Jun. While Jun doesn't know the full details of the situation, there are enough similarities that he feels empathy towards the girl and does try to look out for her... just in his own aloof and socially awkward way because he has no idea how to interact with children. She has been taken in by Vash and Wolfwood, which he is incredibly happy for. He truly hopes Eve gets to experience the loving family and childhood she'd been deprived of.
The owner of the Vogue theater and notorious gossip. Jun doesn't think he's a bad person, in fact he's been kind to Jun on several occasions. But he frequently has no idea how to deal with him. He is a Lot, and it doesn't help that Jun keeps having the nagging feeling from his past memories of deja vu.
A member of the Sparda family and a seasoned demon hunter. Jun is well aware he is capable at what he does, but also? It's really easy and really funny to mess with him about his age.
A member of the Sparda family and Jun's former PE teacher in high school. He was a good teacher and Jun feels respect towards him. He runs the fight club in Kaisou, which Jun occasionally attends. He is also a half-demon and is very strong.
A mage from another world and Jun's former chemistry teacher. Jun and Waver always had a rocky relationship due to personality clashes and other factors. Jun doesn't think Waver is a bad person, but at this point in time tries to restrict his contact with his former teacher to professional business only.
A man from another world and Varian's adoptive father. Jun has known him quite some time as a friend of his father. To Jun, Amal is like that loving relative who he knows he can count on, means well, but sometimes really fails to understand what the teen is thinking. He doesn't have the heart to tell Amal that he finds him a tiny bit cringe in the way you find relatives who try too hard to be cringe. That said, his food is absolutely delicious and Jun loves his weird anti-pants pseudo-aunt.
A woman from another world and a fellow lover of gardening. Jun enjoys her company overall. He is worried about her after she was captured by Krusnik, but he has no idea how to approach it because Jun is forever emotionally stunted.
A man from another world that Jun has worked with a few times. He is a good man, and Jun thinks well of him. Jun doesn't know anything about his past, but Takame reminds him of the older Seal Knights in his past life memories- so that's a bit of a troubling sign right there. He wants to do what he can to get the guy to come out of his shell and learn more about himself. Always deserves dessert, no matter what Takame seems to think.
A Vtuber and also the god of wind and freedom. Jun gets along well with Venti, he's easy to talk to and likes to goof around. At the same time, it's pretty clear Venti is a lot more mature and thoughtful than he lets on. Out of all the gods Jun has met, Venti is the one that reminds him the most of Him. It's like hanging out with a fun older cousin.
Zhongli's son and fellow roof cryptid. Xiao and Jun will often spend late nights on the rooftops together. Few words are exchanged, but honestly that's the way they both prefer it. It's nice having someone around that is comfortable with silence. Jun considers Xiao a friend, and is grateful for all the ways Xiao looks out for him. He hopes to return the favor.
Jun's history professor and neighbor. In his past life, Zhongli was the god of contracts and earth, but he insists that he wishes to be retired from such a role - a decision that Jun respects. Jun enjoys listening to his stories and doesn't mind helping him figure out how to make his phone work. He is a member of the Black Order, and Jun is invested in helpig Zhongli break free of those chains.
When Jun worked at a coffee shop, Moxxie was the customer from hell. When it turned out Moxxie was a demon in a past life, it didn't surprise Jun in the slightest. Jun has helped the guy out here and there, mostly out of the kindness of his own heart, but he can't say his opinion is higher than "tolerates sometimes". Out of all the demons, Moxxie really seems to be the most demonic. His coffee order still haunts Jun late at night.
A man who attends the same church as Jun, so he sees him pretty regularly. They get along well, and Jun always appreciates the baked goods that Caesar sends his way whenever he's feeling down. He's a good guy.
A Water Seraph and member of POKEGO. Mikleo requires a pure vessel in order to avoid being corrupted. Jun offered himself, figuring it'd be a temporary solution until they thought of something better. Since then, Jun has bonded a lot with Mikleo. It's thanks to Mikleo that he's managed to get a better grasp on who he is, and to figure out what kind of life he wants for himself. Currently Mikleo is serving as his mentor while he works his way through the POKEGo apprentice program. While Mikleo has his quirks, Jun trusts the Seraph 100% and sees him as family.
An engineering genius that is also part of the POKEGO apprentice program. He is extremely easy to rile up, which Jun will try to do so on every opportunity. Basically they tend to bicker a lot. However Jun actually does trust Varian to an extent, and knows that he could go to him whenever he needs help. It's a pretty weird relationship honestly.
A guy who shares past life memories with Jun, he was one of Kou's friends and member of the XRC. Of the XRC, he is definitely the most mature of the lot. He tends to have a cool head on his shoulders. He works at a restaurant that Jun likes to frequent, and it's always delicious. He's a reliable guy, no matter the life.
