ENERGY VIBE CHECK

Jun has the ability to pick up on different magical energy signatures. Think of it like a magical fingerprint, where every person's magic/abilities have their own unique signature. So if your character makes something out of a spell, Jun will be able to tell its their handiwork.

It also should be noted that while each energy signature is unique, magic energies can have similarities based on factors like characters sharing a similar species (ex: Zhongli from Genshin Impact and Amaterasu from Okami would both ping as gods), come from the same world, or are related to one another (he can tell whose a Weasley and whose a random redhead).

Other things to note:

The range that Jun's able to pick up on energy depends on the character's power level. If they are magikarp weak, he'll need to be close to them. If they are god-tier gamebreaking level, he'd feel their presence if they're just in the same city. That said, due to Jun lacking the item he needs to focus his sense, he can only pick on a powerful person's location if they are within 50 feet of him. This might change if he finds a replacement for his tracking crystal, but until then he's like this with you godmods on the train.

If your character is actively suppressing, cloaking or deactivated their power -- Jun will not be able to sense anything.

If your character is one of those cases where they're classified as a supernatural creature but aren't ACTUALLY magic (Vampires in Trinity Blood for example), Jun probably wouldn't be able to sense anything unless you want him to.

If your character doesn't have magic but DOES have a magic weapon, he could possibly detect the weapon. Same rules apply.

Unless your character is an active threat, Jun is likely to do nothing with anything he senses because honestly he's a pretty apathetic teenager.

Power Level: 7? Its difficult to judge power levels in his canon, but he's recognized as being more powerful than others of his kind.
Detection Levels: He makes no effort to conceal what he is, but its only really noticeable to other people with magical abilities.
Anything else: Magic in Will's universe is divided into several forces, with the Light and Dark being magic forces directly opposed to each other. Will is of the Light, and the feel of his magic probably reflects that.

Power Level: Probably 10 for 'Gamebreakingly Powerful' but you know how it be. Find the right stubborn protag and about seven close friends for a climatic confrontation and things might work out alright in a cutscene.

Detection Levels: Elidibus doesn't do much to conceal his power but he might be less bleedingly obvious how powerful he is while he's in his borrowed vessel (which is most of the time). Which is still powerful on its own! But as far as detection goes, 'Yes' is a fine term and maybe deceptive because of the metaphorical (or literal?) body shield. This will depend on how your detection works tho! There are no magic wards in the way of looking beyond the shell. :D

Anything else: Elidibus is both a powerful sorcerer, a being of aether (energy, building blocks of magic, deus ex machina energy of FFXIV) and an ancient being. He can use powerful magic and also has creation magic; which in other canon would be close to the same sort of bs power gods use to create... .well, all stuff in reation.

Power Level: This is interesting because the God of Death, you'd think he'd be a 10, but he's also been bested by mortals/demigods before. Plus other gods are stronger than him. (He's actually kinda limited with what he can do compared to others.) 8-10?
Detection Levels: Thanatos doesn't hide who he is, though he does have a pair of wings he could summon when he wants. Same with his scythe and sword.
Anything else: Mort, his Chthonic Companion plushie mouse, can ping like a magical weapon connected to Thanatos if you want

Anything else: The feather of Nyx in his Evoker might ping as a magical weapon.

Anything else: His COMP probably pings magical (it looks like a 3DS). Also I don't know if Jun could detect curses but his is very ingrained and strong. Also I'm sorry if he mentions the church, Naoya will not deal with that well.
