No, he's another exorcist from Kumamoto. He also has a habit of badgering people about their abilities. The easiest way to avoid him would be to only interact with him in your civilian persona.

Ah, that explains why he took such an interest in my archery practice...it felt more than just being another archer.

What do you mean by "badger" though?

I mean that he seeks powerful things that he thinks will better his clan, and that extends to people. The last time he ran into an extremely powerful 16 year old, he showed up at his house and waited for him to come home at night to try to use him for his own purposes. (Please don't accuse me of momming you again, I know you can take care of yourself.)

That aside, he's a powerful exorcist, and he's someone whose abilities you could draw on in an emergency. Just be aware that he doesn't do anything without an ulterior motive, short of maybe trying to get us home faster.

I've put it this way: I decide what to exorcise based on whether it's harmful. He decides what to exorcise based on whether it's useful. If he thinks something is strong enough, he could try to get it under his own power rather than focusing on eliminating it.
